A downloadable Chubrik for Windows and Android

Chubrik's Dungeon is a pixel-art 2D dungeon-crawler RPG'ish roguelike* card game.

Search for powerful Artifacts, hire companions, trade with Kings and fellow adventurers, face the abominations of the Black Rose, put the Judges to their place, fight with various enemies, with each dungeon floor bringing you closer to a grim end or a long-awaited escape. Face Chubrik himself from time to time and play his sick little games in an attempt to regain control over your own fate.

The strongest shall remain standing!
If you really like the game, and/or you want to support me, you can do it HERE.

Thanks to everyone who plays my game, and special thanks to everyone who supports me!

! - The game originated as a real board game that needs a standard deck of 54 playing cards (2 Jokers included), and a standard 7-pcs set of D'n'D dice, so it is also completely playable that way!

Chubrik drew great inspiration from Luc Miron's wonderful "Hebrac's Dungeon" card game.

* The game does provide a progress saving mechanic for the player's convenience, since a run may take a long time to complete.

Previous updates:

- New "Strength Pool" mechanic
- New "Risk" mechanic
- New enemy "Armour" mechanic
- New enemy "Soul pieces" mini-mechanic
- Replaced "Healing" spell with "Foresight" (only Mage class has Healing left)
- Visual and audio improvements
- Tutorial deepened (check the "bulb" button in main menu, it is set to "off" by default + "reminder" + class abilities reminder upon character icon pressed)
- Many small fixes

(And the game is still playable IRL!)

My fate is no longer under Chubrik's control!

I never reloaded a save game as it felt like cheating, won with a demon in the end.

I like the artstyle and atmosphere, the sound effects are perfect. The gameplay loop  and resource managment are fun, I like that some enemies are strong and you're often in fear of meeting one, these ones are then also all the more satisfying to beat. I like the different classes, the scope is on point for what the game wants to be and so are the difficulty, luck and mitigation.

I've yet to defeat a King to see what the outcome is.

Thanks for sharing!
